Professor Yair Lorberbaum received his doctorate in Jewish thought from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is currently a professor at Bar-Ilan University’s Law School. He has published numerous articles and books on Jewish thought, Jewish law, and political and legal theory, including: Image of God: Halakhah and Aggadah and Disempowered King: Monarchy in Ancient Jewish Literature.
